With the widespread investigation of drainage networks across the country, how to achieve efficient transmission and management of engineering information has become a huge challenge. Therebefore, fully applying BIM technology to sewage pipe network engineering and improving the efficiency of pipe network management is a major development trend. This paper extends the application of industrial basic standards in sewage pipe network systems, establishments an IFC entity architecture for the spatial structure of the pipe network, and combines the spatial and physical structure of the sewage pipe network to expand the IFC entity and attribute information, as well as geometric and attribute information A method for adding and transmitting attribute information based on IFC was proposed.
