Warm mix asphalt mixture technology has excellent construction and workability under low temperature working conditions, which can effectively reduce the emission of harmful gases. This article analyzes the results of applying Marshall compaction method to the mix design of warm mix asphalt mixture. The wheel rolling method and the Marshall compaction method are two distinct techniques used for compacting asphalt mixtures, and they each have their own advantages and disadvantages. The rotary compaction method is another process that is sometimes compared with these two. Analyzed the superiority of the wheel rolling method over the Marshall compaction method and compare its similarity with the rotary compaction method. The wheel rolling method is more suitable for the design of warm mix asphalt mixture systems.
