Modeling Chemical Reactivity in Multiphasic Systems: Microemulsions and Emulsions
摘要
The chemistry in the real world is much more complex than that in a test-tube, making frequently that bulk chemistry is hardly ever a good approximation to real-life chemistry. Most of the biologically relevant structures are multiphasic in the sense that they are composed of regions with different solvent properties. In this chapter we analyze chemical reactivity in representative “multiphasic” systems where reactions may take place simultaneously in such environments.
