Transitioning from the Enlightenment framework, this chapter envisions a society in which dignity is unconditional, and every person is granted the autonomy to define their own learning and life paths. It critiques the traditional equation of autonomy with rationality, arguing instead for a model that recognizes the inherent worth of all people, regardless of their state of enlightenment. The discussion reimagines social and educational relations as processes rooted in mutual respect, pluralism, and personal responsibility—laying the philosophical groundwork for a truly human-centered society.
