The European Union, Green Transition and Civil Society. Increasing Consideration of the Role of the Consumer
摘要
The European idea was born in the early 1950s on the basis of the objectives of economic interaction around industrial and energy issues. It was only around the 1980s that Europe opened up to the issues of consumer and environmental protection. Much more recently, and without formal recognition of the concept of common goods, in the early 2020s the European Union undertook a profound paradigm shift by making consumers a lever for action towards the green transition. The main tools used to this end were information and communication.
