The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been driving transformation and innovation across various industries. The expansion in production scale demands businesses to pay more attention to warehouse management activities. However, the adoption of warehouse management systems (WMSs) remains challenging for some small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) due to high initial investment costs, complexity in implementation and management, and variations in scale and operational characteristics. In this context, a proposed solution at a specific factory aims to address warehouse management issues with low costs and the flexibility to adjust according to user requirements. Experimental results demonstrate that this solution can effectively tackle certain warehouse management challenges in the test manufacturing plant and has the potential for broader application in the industry.
