The apparel industry is an important business sector with a short product life cycle, diverse consumer needs, significant product diversity, and complex supply chains. These are the main reasons why, in the process of order management and production, apparel enterprises must face a lot of difficulties and potential risks. These risks can cause significant losses to production and business activities, as well as damage to the image and reputation of the business among customers. This paper proposes a forecasting model to assess the risk level in the order management process through an ordinal logistic regression. These findings support clothing businesses in proactively identifying, analyzing, and evaluating the types of risks that often occur during the order management process, thereby providing solutions to control these types of risks effectively.
