Querying on encrypted data is a currently interesting area aimed at addressing security issues when deploying databases on cloud servers. The research proposes an improvement in the design method of indexes supporting the search which is based on buckets. This method allows to query efficiently the data on those indexes. The efficiency is demonstrated through criteria related to security, performance, and deploy-ability. The overlapping properties of the buckets enhance security and reduce false positive results, while the order preservation property improves search performance, facilitates query transformation, and ensures deploy-ability for all modern relational databases.
