Real Time Early Curve Accident Warning System

The system presents a Real-Time Early Curve Accident Warning System that is specifically designed to address the safety issues associated with hairpin bends on roads. Additionally, the system labels vehicles as HMV or LMV for better warning of opposite direction vehicles. It is done through the use of cameras set at strategic positions and specially calibrated to record live footages of approaching cars round these critical corners. Furthermore, using modern deep learning algorithms, this recorded footage is continuously processed in real-time to obtain vehicle detection with immediate speed computation. If they are detected passing through these bends at speeds that could be dangerous, a real-time alert will be triggered soon enough by the system hence informing drivers instantly and reducing chances of accidents by a great margin. By fusing high-tech solutions together and introducing some powerful real-time monitoring capabilities, it seeks to solve basic road transport safety concerns within contemporary settings. With an aim towards creating safer roads and communities, the project anticipates playing its part in improving public safety standards across society as a whole.
