This study considers from a few studies, exploring the factors influence the blockchain technology in public governments, especially in Jordan. The present article aims at theorizing model to pre-analyze the potential factors affecting the processes of the blockchain technology adoption in public institutions in Jordan based on scanning the related investigations in literature. The method of this research was a systematic review rely on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Three stages have been employed to conduct the objective of this study: Exploring common used information systems theories, summarizing studies regarding blockchain adoption, and suggesting a new model regarding adoption of blockchain technology in e-gov setting. The main result of this study is to suggest an integration model based on multiple information systems frameworks, targeting to estimate the pre-adoption rate depending on users’ perspective. As a result, the suggested model could aid the leaders, decision makers, and specialists to adopt blockchain applications within public sector in Jordan.
