This paper investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT on pharmaceutical supply chains. It discusses the state-of-the-art technology underlying ChatGPT, an extremely intelligent chatbot that has garnered significant attention recently. The output of an interview with ChatGPT regarding how AI and GPT may impact pharmaceutical supply chains is presented, which illustrates ChatGPT’s capabilities. Additionally, it discusses the ethical considerations that should be addressed when utilizing ChatGPT, the challenges, and whether the advantages of using ChatGPT in pharmaceutical supply chains can overcome the disadvantages.
