The study aims to assess consumer privacy concerns and trust in online advertising for the e-commerce sector in Jordan. The study considers executives working for e-commerce companies as sample. A questionnaire survey using a 5-point Likert scale was used to gather data from 100 respondents. A methodical survey was created to collect data regarding consumer privacy concerns and confidence in online advertising. The findings show a substantial correlation between consumer privacy concerns and trust in online advertising, with lower levels of trust linked to higher privacy concerns. Additionally, age-related disparities in consumer perceptions of online advertising were noted, underscoring the necessity of customised advertising tactics aimed at various age groups. The hypothesis was tested by means of one-way ANOVA and one-sample t-test using SPSS. The study found a strong correlation between customer trust in online advertising and privacy issues in Jordan's e-commerce industry. Different age groups differed in their concerns about consumer privacy and confidence level in online advertising. Customers concerned about the safety of their personal information or the possibility that third-party advertisers may misuse it showed less faith in online advertising networks. The respondents emphasised the importance of strong privacy protection policies and open data handling procedures to build consumer confidence in online advertising.
