Mathematical Models of the Cochlear Function
摘要
The outstanding properties of the human hearing function are related to several aspects of the physiology of hearing. The modeler’s skill is identifying the elements of the system that require accurate description, and the required level of accuracy, in order to correctly describe and predict a given aspect of the phenomenology. We will try to show that different aspects of the cochlear phenomenology require different degrees of accuracy in the description of different elements of such a complex system.
