… A Thousand Words
摘要
This chapter draws together the different threads of the argument both in terms of what art might be, and why there might be one set of ideas for people who have narrow interests in “Fine Art” and a different set for people who have broader visions of what art is. I present a case for the relationship between these two visions, and how, in considering them, we can understand much more about art in the history of humans. Importantly, people who are interested in art (of any period or style) should consider the roles art has had throughout, at least, the last 50,000 years.
