摘要
The city-state of Singapore is one of the most affluent and developed nations in its region. Home to its population of racially diverse individuals including Chinese, Malays and Indians, Singaporeans have learnt to embrace the diversity of cultures, religions and ideas to coexist in one congenial space. As one nation, it continues to strive to maintain its position as a globally competitive economy by investing in infrastructure, and engaging in innovation and technology. Singapore’s achievements are further boosted by its strategic location which encourages global connectivity. The country’s small size and hence limited resources makes it imperative to remain open and engaged with global markets. As an open economy which is constantly influenced by the changing tides of global economies, it is ingrained in us to adapt and change swiftly in response to global trends.
