Rating Agencies and the Global Financial Order
摘要
The rating industry is deeply technical and has evolved over a century, adapting to different global financial orders. This chapter explores the key characteristics of the current global financial order and examines how S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch operate, considering their historical trajectory and major conflicts of interest. It also highlights the symbiotic relationship between the Big Three and the financial globalization order—one that has both empowered them and positioned them as its guardians.
