Operative Care, Stainless Steel Crowns and Management of Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation

In patients presenting with established carious lesions or enamel breakdown secondary to MIH, the provision of operative dentistry needs to be planned and delivered as efficiently as possible to maximise the opportunity to definitively restore. Various tips and techniques are presented that aid the clinician in ensuring restorative procedures are predictable without compromising residual tooth tissue with the aim of maintaining deciduous units until they naturally exfoliate or retain adult units definitively.
