Tumours of the upper and lower jawbones—the maxilla and mandible, respectively—are well recognised. They can arise from bone tissues, tissues associated with tooth formation and, on rare occasions, from malignant tumours originating in other parts of the body. In this chapter, examples of tumours from each source are discussed with reference to their clinical and radiographic features in the jaws, how they are diagnosed and treated.
