Oral Pigmentations
摘要
Pigment is a substance that gives tissues colour. A healthy mouth lining is typically light pink in fair-skinned people and slightly darker-toned or brown in darker-skinned people. Any area of altered colouration of the lining of the mouth is known as oral pigmentation and usually presents as grey, blue, brown and/or black changes. The colour of the mouth varies depending on race, location in the mouth and the presence of disease.
