Blood Supply and Lymphatic Drainage of the Mouth and Face
摘要
The major arterial supply to the head is derived from the common carotid and subclavian arteries. The common carotid artery is divided into two branches, the internal and external carotid artery. The branches of the external carotid artery collectively provide the main supply to the mouth and face. The face and mouth are very vascular parts of the body and are supplied by arterial, capillary and venous networks.
