This chapter describes first the own cancer history. Ironically, the ultimate diagnosis was done with radionuclide methods. In a way, this closes the more than 30-year circle that the author has had in the development of markers for prostate cancer. Getting to the final diagnosis took almost 9 months from the initial suspicion. The suspicion was based on an elevated PSA value and a suspicious 4k test. The MRI examination was only done half a year later as a result of various coincidences. There were no findings suggestive of cancer, only an enlarged prostate. Biopsies taken 7 months later revealed bilateral prostate cancer. No changes suggestive of malignancy were found in the CT examination of the body. The author did PET scans at his own expense, which found relatively aggressive prostate cancer. In the renewed MRI examination and retrospectively also in the one done 3 months earlier, apical cancer extending to the capsule was clearly visible. No local spread was found. GS7 prostate cancer was observed, and it was treated with ADT in combination of VMAT and brachytherapy. Dose planning was based on the 18F-PSMA-1007-PET study. The diagnostic procedures and treatments are discussed in detail in this chapter.
