This work presents a bibliometric analysis of Software Engineering to analyze the growth’s, specifically through the number of publications, participation of authors, sources, countries, keywords, citations, and emerging trends. The objective is to provide a historical overview of software engineering and reflect on the past so that the community and researchers can assess its strengths and shortcomings. Likewise, the thematic analysis is described to know what Software Engineering topics have been published in the last ten years. The results of this study are intended to help researchers gain a faster and deeper understanding of the current software engineering literature.
