The Relationship Between Business Intelligence and Strategic Performance: A Review of Previous Studies with Application to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority
摘要
The concept of strategic performance has received a lot of attention, both at the academic level and at the business level, due to the differences between administrative practices within organizations and the many obstacles prevailing in the current business era, which is characterized by rapid change. The reason for these differences is the vitality and dynamism of the business environment, which has made organizations of all types committed to continuous adaptation according to the needs and requirements of ongoing and evolving environmental uncertainties. This study examines the relationship between strategic performance and business intelligence (BI) in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA). It emphasizes how crucial digital transformation is to raising the efficacy of BI applications and serving as a major element that amplifies their influence. This study clarifies how ASEZA may become a more competitive force in the local economy by enhancing strategic performance via the use of Business Intelligence (BI) in conjunction with effective digital transformation initiatives. In order to fully realize the promise of BI, it also provides insights for company executives and governments, urging them to invest in digital capabilities.
