The treatment landscape of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has changed dramatically in the last several years and continues to evolve. With the advent of immunotherapy-based treatments and improvement in overall survival for patients with advanced HCC, combination therapy regimens are at the forefront. This chapter offers a concise interpretation of the existing literature where combination therapy regimens with locoregional and systemic treatment options are considered, evaluating their efficacy and potential drawbacks. As new trials emerge evaluating these treatment modalities, a more nuanced approach to treating patients with HCC will need to be considered.
