In-vitro fertilization (IVF) is widely used for treating infertility. EmbryoGlue, a hyaluronan-enriched medium, has been suggested as a potential enhancer of embryo implantation in IVF. This study aims to investigate the impact of EmbryoGlue on embryo implantation rate in IVF patients. We conducted an analysis at Hung Vuong Hospital. The patients were categorized into two groups: a control group (n = 171) receiving conventional medium and an experimental group (n = 177) receiving EmbryoGlue. The implantation rate was recorded. Data analysis was performed using R software. Overall, the patient characteristics between the two groups appear to be balanced in terms of body mass index (BMI), age, infertility duration, and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) levels. The implantation rate in the control group was 40.94%, while it was 41.81% in the EmbryoGlue group. Statistical analysis revealed no significant difference in implantation rate between the two groups (p = 0.96). The results of this study are consistent with previous research, indicating no significant differences in implantation rate between hyaluronan-enriched medium and standard culture medium. It's worth noting that the use of EmbryoGlue may be associated with add-on interventions, potentially leading to economic burdens for patients. While this intervention did not show significant benefits in the current study, it may hold promise for other patient groups, such as those with recurrent implantation failure, warranting further investigation.
