The purpose of this research is to examine how the advancement of blockchain technology has enhanced the quality control mechanisms in the food manufacturing process while adopting traceability systems. The target group comprised food manufacturing organizations in Fujairah, UAE, and the number of respondents was 233. To collect the data, an online survey was conducted, and the statistical analysis was done using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research also analyzes how this technology of blockchain increases transparency at each level of the supply chain to heighten quality assurance. Also, it examines how traceability systems, underpinned by blockchain’s unique distributed ledger approach, act as a moderator between the extent of blockchain implementation and the improvement in quality control performance. The studies provide novel insights into the application of blockchain in the enhancement of the food manufacturing industry’s operational performance and quality product delivery structures under the changing conditions of the manufacturing environment.

摘要
