Navigating Project Quality Management in Agile Projects in the Telecom Sector
摘要
This research aims to reflect on agile project frameworks and how project quality may be monitored under the agile layout. The main issue is that the agile methodology is quite new and is not applied to most projects. Additionally, agile projects are different in nature, and within agile methodology, a dedicated team is required to oversee the progress of the project. The research is based on gathering various data from primary and secondary sources. The primary data was collected through formal interviews with three managers in Etisalat and a survey with those who are closely involved with agile projects, while the secondary data was obtained from different academic articles. The findings showed that Etisalat has supported the agile methodology over the last few years, with the first introduction of agility occurring in 2016 with the “My Etisalat App”. Throughout this research article, in-depth analysis performed to study the projects carried out in Etisalat helped us understand that projects have changed the telecom industry by introducing the agile projects methodology, which is applied to certain projects in the company. This agile principle and its features and capabilities are also examined in this research.
