Communication Delay
摘要
This chapter addresses the impact of communication delays on multi-agent system synchronization. Delays can disrupt information exchange, degrade system performance, and even cause instability. The chapter extends the homogenization techniques from previous chapters to account for such delays, using linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to design delay-resilient consensus controllers. First-order and second-order systems are analyzed under a specific delay configuration to ensure stability and convergence.
