Distributed Adaptive Homogenization

Building on the robust homogenization techniques in Chap. 5, this chapter presents an adaptive approach to homogenization based on the certainty equivalence principle. By designing adaptive update laws using Lyapunov functions, it introduces a framework that enables agents to dynamically adjust their control strategies to counteract heterogeneous uncertainties. The discussion covers both centralized and distributed designs, with a particular focus on the distributed adaptive scheme, highlighting its advantages and broader applicability.
