If education for sustainable development is taught and learned throughout educational sectors, the future generation will be better equipped to handle the overwhelming sustainability concerns. The study's primary goal was to comprehend how personalities, teaching abilities, and attitudes towards sustainable education affected teaching styles among Indian management teachers. The study has adopted a single cross-sectional study approach. The data were collected from the management teachers across India. We have received 376 usable responses. The respondents were contacted through Google Docs only. The hypothesis was tested using structural equation modeling. Out of the prominent five personality characteristics, extraversion influences the facilitator and delegator teaching styles. Attitude towards sustainable education mediates this association. Similarly, attitude towards sustainable education acts as a full mediator in the interaction between emotional stability and facilitator teaching style. However, there is some evidence that conscientiousness, openness to experience expert teaching styles, and agreeableness with the delegator teaching style are partially mediated by attitudes towards sustainable education. In addition, the behavior and technology teaching competence influenced the expert and delegator teaching style, which was thoroughly and partially mediated by attitude towards sustainable education. The research offers several theoretical and practical implications woven across the many ideas. Educators should pay close attention to these results when using their teaching method. The study also has implications for institution leaders since it identifies strategies for boosting instructors’ participation and encouraging them to use various teaching philosophies.

摘要
