In recent years, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic, rapid advances in technology implementation have been witnessed in higher education institutions. Technological tools are supplementary in language learning and teaching, specifically within English as a second/foreign language. However, there exist some concerns surrounding the effective implementation of technological tools. This chapter lays the theoretical foundations of technology-integrated language learning and explains the recent applications of technology-enhanced language teaching and learning. Key drivers for integrating technology in Intensive English Programs (IEP)s and current applications and software are identified. Other points to be discussed in this chapter are the professional development of educators related to technology integration in IEPs, current educational tools, and developing a plan to meet students’ language learning needs by considering infrastructural conditions of Turkish higher education institutions. Suggestions for future technology-integrated IEPs in higher education are provided.
