Taking into account the significant parametric uncertainty in calculation models of mechanics of deformable media and structures, which is caused by the spread of values of the initial geometric and physical–mechanical parameters in the form of design technological tolerances provided for in the manufacture, errors in experimental data on the physical–mechanical properties of the materials used, variability of subjective expert assessments for individual basic characteristics of structures, is an important factor in increasing the practical value of the results of mechanical-mathematical modeling. The application of probabilistic-stochastic analysis methods for these purposes in practice is complicated by the lack of statistically correct information on the spread of experimental measurement results to be taken into account, a large number of non-contrasting parameters to be taken into account simultaneously, and the need for an a priori assignment of the type of probability distributions for exogenous and endogenous characteristics of calculation models. Taking this into account, for the study of parametric uncertainty in the models of stability of thin-walled elastic structures in the form of three-layer plates, cylindrical, spherical, ellipsoidal and toroidal shells, it is proposed to use the methods of fuzzy set theory with a softer level of requirements for the nature of uncertain initial information, within the framework of which a transition to non-contrasting fuzzy-set initial parameters in the calculation relationships for the resulting characteristics of deterministic variants of the models under consideration is provided based on the use of the apparatus of fuzzy calculations and alpha-level modification of the heuristic principle of generalization to expand the domains of definition of the calculation relationships of the models under consideration to arguments of the fuzzy-set type. 摘要

The results of computational experiments with the application of algorithmic variants of the proposed methods are presented.
