Influence of the Moisture Desorption Process on the Modulus of Elasticity and Strength of Lightweight Cement Concrete and Cement Soil Composite
摘要
The study discusses the results of investigating the dependence of changes in the modulus of elasticity and strength for two series of structural lightweight cement concretes and a cement-clay composite based on white soils with a carbonate composition on the duration of the desorption process of chemically unbound moisture retained in their pores and capillaries. It has been shown that, in the changes of the modulus of elasticity and strength of lightweight cement concretes and cement-clay composites, the factor of chemically unbound moisture loss can, in some cases, be dominant among other factors.
