This paper discusses the construction of an exact solution to the problem of the contact interaction of an absolutely rigid stamp with an elastic half-plane in the presence of shear contact stresses at rest. At the same time, it is considered that the contact zone is unknown in advance. Simple formulas for determining the half-length of the contact zone and contact stresses are obtained. In the cases of parabolic and wedge-shaped punches, numerical calculations were carried out and the patterns of change in the half-length of the contact zone and contact stresses were studied depending on the friction coefficient for different values of Poisson’s ratio.

摘要
