Boosting citizens’ creativity is part of Lithuania’s Progress Strategy “Lithuania 2030”. The strategy states that one of the most important competencies for the future labor market is creativity, therefore it is very important to pay due attention to its development in all branches of education (The Government of the Republic of Lithuania, 2020). More than a decade ago, a similar priority was set by the European Union. A European Strategy for smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth (2010) states that on the national level, each Member State will need to focus school curricula on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. To meet mentioned governmental and labor market needs, a joint study programme Creativity and Business Innovations was launched at Vilniaus Kolegija/Higher Education Institution (Lithuania), Porto Polytechnic Institute (Portugal), and Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia) in September 2014. The programme focuses on creating economic sustainability and growth through innovations and aims at implementing new thinking and complex assignments in innovative aspects of modern society, based on relevant new theories and methods, providing creative solutions to innovate enterprises. The Creativity and Business Innovation Programme was based on Creative Platform methodology, developed by Dr. Christian Byrge Malmkjær Sørensen from Aalborg University, Denmark. The programme provides a joint (Lithuanian, Estonian, Portuguese) Professional Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
