The Joint Special Operations University (JSOU), established in 2000 as the educational arm of the U.S. Special Operations Command, itself a part of the Department of Defense, introduced a Creativity and Creative Problem Solving (CPS) program to enhance the problem-solving capabilities of Special Operations Forces (SOF) professionals.
