The Role of Managerial Innovation in Enhancing Competitive Advantage in Telecommunications Companies

The purpose of this research is to investigate how managerial creativity, which encompasses fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and problem sensitivity, influences the competitive advantage of telecommunications companies. The study utilized a quantitative approach and targeted senior and middle management employees in Umniah, Zain, and Orange, three prominent telecommunications companies. A total of 565 employees participated in the survey, which was distributed electronically using purposive sampling. Out of the 322 retrieved questionnaires, all were deemed complete and valid for analysis. The findings revealed significant statistical effects (α ≤ 0.05) of managerial creativity and its dimensions on competitive advantage in the telecommunications industry. As a result, the study recommends that the surveyed companies prioritize their information systems to enhance sales volume and improve their capacity to retain and foster creative expertise.
