Among the areas profoundly influenced by these technological developments is educational supervision. Educational supervision holds a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education and overall educational processes, offering guidance and support to both teachers and students, as well as improving teaching practices within classrooms. In Saudi Arabia, educational supervision stands as a fundamental pillar in maintaining and elevating the standard of education, aligning with the objectives set forth by Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes the improvement and development of educational systems. This study aims to thoroughly examine the concept of electronic educational supervision, elucidating its rationale, objectives, and significance. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive overview of its implementation in Saudi Arabia, identifies the primary challenges hindering its adoption, and presents recommendations to effectively activate electronic educational supervision, thereby maximizing its benefits and contributing to the advancement of the educational and supervisory processes in the Kingdom. The results of the study suggest that the utilization of electronic monitoring in the realm of education has the potential to enhance the quality of education and improve the overall effectiveness of the educational process. Additionally, the findings shed light on the diverse obstacles that arise during the implementation of electronic supervision, encompassing technical, administrative, and operational challenges. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the necessity of enhancing the technical infrastructure in schools and educational institutions, as well as offering comprehensive training programs for educational supervisors in the field of educational technology.
