Drawing on technological approaches, cultural diversity and forms of education, this study aims to deepen understanding of how diverse cultures can challenge or shape educational practices. It provides a conceptual and operational perspective on the relationship between cultural relativism and educational practices, and the ability to use it as a means to understand how technology may enable, provide resources, or enable forms of engagement in diverse cultural contexts. Through a systematic and reflective review of a large and diverse literature, the study examines selected empirical examples to identify patterns, themes, and divergences in how technology can help us engage in diverse cultural contexts. The results indicate a varied understanding of the complexities of engaging with cultural diversity and the role that education can play in this process. It suggests that technology can be a valuable resource in establishing more inclusive and effective educational practices.
