The objective of the study is to investigate how strategic flexibility influences employee empowerment within the Directorate of Education in the Al-Qasr region. This research incorporates two primary variables: an independent variable and a dependent variable. Strategic flexibility, the independent variable, is delineated through three dimensions: human resource flexibility, information flexibility, and capability flexibility. Conversely, employee empowerment, the dependent variable, is assessed through three dimensions as well: delegation of authority, motivation, and training. A questionnaire consisting of 36 items was developed to evaluate these variables, and 120 questionnaires were distributed among the study population. Ultimately, 105 responses were deemed valid for analysis, resulting in a response rate of 88%. The researchers utilized a descriptive-analytical approach and implemented various statistical tests using SPSS software. The study yielded several significant findings, the most notable being that the dimensions of strategic flexibility have a statistically significant effect on enhancing employee empowerment, with these dimensions explaining 52% of the variance in employee empowerment; the remaining percentage is attributed to factors outside the scope of this study. The findings further indicated that both human resource flexibility and information flexibility significantly influence employee empowerment, with human resource flexibility demonstrating the greatest explanatory power. Conversely, capability flexibility did not exhibit a statistically significant effect on employee empowerment. The study recommeds enhancing investments in the modernization and development of technological systems to facilitate prompt and straightforward access to information, along with offering suitable training to enhance employees’ capacity to respond to emergencies and improve human resource systems.
