The objective of this study is to investigate the prerequisites for initiating self-management within educational institutions, with particular emphasis on the challenges that may emerge during its execution and the subsequent impact on academic performance. Through an analysis of existing practices, the research aims to offer pragmatic solutions for the enhancement and effective application of self-management across diverse school settings. The findings indicated that the activation of self-management significantly enhances the efficacy of administrative decisions and bolsters the engagement of all stakeholders in the educational process, thereby improving the overall educational environment. Additionally, the study uncovered an increase in both school autonomy and flexibility, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities for educators and administrators. In light of these findings, the study advocates for the improvement of professional training for school personnel, the provision of essential support from higher authorities, and the reorganization of administrative frameworks within schools to facilitate the adoption of self-management. Furthermore, it recommends the establishment of incentive systems that promote active involvement from all members of the school community and the strengthening of community partnerships to enhance educational quality and elevate school performance.
