The compression ignition direct injection engine parameters of Schleichera Oleosa (Kusum) bio-diesel mixtures with normal diesel is presented. A 4-S normal diesel engine tests are carried out with various timings of 22°, 23° and 24°bTDC with standard pressure of 220 bar. It is found that 22° bTDC for B-0 and B-50 fuel give slightly lower emissions such as hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide, smoke density and oxides of nitrogen.
