Employee satisfaction is a fundamental factor for the smooth operation of any business. This study statistically examines the factors influencing employee satisfaction in a Greek banking organization. The research aimed to reach conclusions that help enhance satisfaction and, consequently, increase the productivity and commitment of employees. Data from 1,720 questionnaires were used for the analysis, representing approximately 28.6% of the total staff. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, crossovers, and χ2 tests. The results showed that age and the form of the employment contract are the main determinants of employee satisfaction. The findings suggest that the banking organization could consider implementing strategies that focus on reviewing pay and benefits, improving communication, and fostering a sense of job security to enhance staff satisfaction.
