A detailed study has been conducted on the utilization and accessibility of healthcare services, the most common form of use of healthcare facilities of the urban poor in their life span beyond their socioeconomic status. Also, accessibility to healthcare facilities is an essential factor during an emergency. This chapter minutely worked to make a broad understanding of the magnitude and spatiotemporal extent of the utilization and accessibility of healthcare services for the urban poor. This chapter incorporates the healthcare services of the urban poor women and investigates whether women’s healthcare practices are detrimental, which involves different factors that lead them to health risks. The second section discusses child healthcare services and examines the primary childcare practices, available facilities, and accessibility. The last section focuses on the spatial modeling (location-allocation model, predictive analysis, speed model builder, etc.) of healthcare accessibility, including different criteria of physical and socioeconomic aspects that propose the location of the new healthcare center and the allocation of the existing healthcare center. This model predicts spatiotemporal accessibility of the nearest healthcare center and provides information to the urban poor.

摘要
