Resilience in the Work World
摘要
This chapter explores the multilevel intersecting factors that contribute to a resilient workplace. It explores the systemic properties of organizations that allow them to respond to disruptions and to effect meaningful change. It also discusses how social workers can use the resilience-enhancing stress model to remediate discriminatory work environments that can negatively influence people’s interpersonal resilient social functioning in the workplace. Narrative interviews describe the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in ameliorating risks in the workplace. The chapter also explores how positive individual, team, and organizational interactions in the workplace are enhanced through interventions that promote diversity in social relationships.
