In this volume I have so far discussed the conceptualisations of migrants and the EU, through conceptual metaphor, concordance and keywords analyses, between 1st January 2006 and 31st December 2018, in Romania and the United Kingdom. In Chapter 3 , I analysed the OBJECT, NATURAL DISASTER and INVASION conceptual metaphors, used in the press to compare migrantsmigrants with objects, ships, illegal goods, waves, flowsflow, liquids, invaders, enemies and threats.
