Clavicle fracture is one of the three most common fractures that occur during childhood, so knowledge of its epidemiology, mechanism of injury, treatment, and possible complications is of vital importance for the general traumatologist, and even for the non-specialist physician. Its most frequent location in the segment is the diaphyseal, and in more than 95% of cases it requires conservative orthopedic treatment. In this chapter, we will address both the classic and modern concepts for its diagnosis and treatment.
