The chapter examines the political programs of Europarties and political groups to show how gender equality policies were addressed in the EP 2024 elections. Based on official election results and insights from previous EP legislatures, the chapter compares political group positions and forecasts the potential impact of political group dynamics on EU gender policies, including continuing or changing policy priorities advocated for by the previous Commission and EP gender equality actors. Our approach provides a nuanced examination of the multifaceted dimensions of gender equality in the last EP elections and their subsequent policy implications, thereby contributing to a better understanding of a policy field that is one of the most conflictual between political groups.
