The aim of this chapter is to provide a state-of-the-art overview of how Agentic AI contributes to educational transformation, specifically on pedagogic innovation and personalization. Agentic AI systems are designed to operate independently: to analyze learning gaps, personalize curricula, and promote the interaction of teachers and learners. This further develops with showing that these systems can be used by leveraging multimodal data analytics for specific insight in educational purposes, hence enabling equitable and inclusive learning environments. Key challenges regarding data quality and ethical considerations, along with the need for teacher training, are discussed. This chapter concludes by outlining some future prospects likely to characterize Agentic AI in education through the creation of immersive learning experiences and its long-term impact on society.
