A way we can evaluate an organization’s path toward adopting a systems thinking culture is to measure the penetration of rigorous methods that enforce it. Our observation is that despite the increasing number of challenges many organizations face, adopting rigorous frameworks, tools, and methods is very low across engineering, administrative, sales, and marketing functions. Since most fresh young talent will not usually be exposed to rigorous systems thinking frameworks, languages, and tools when they start their careers, we give several real-world example applications here.
